About the Owner

John has spent a dozen years living overseas at this point in his life, primarily in Europe and South East Asia. Home is wherever my family is at this particular juncture of life.

I’ve spent a dozen years working at the intersections of finance, technology and organizational change. If you start adding up the dozens, you realize I’m not young anymore.

I love reading, photography, technology and love sharing what I’m learning about with my long-suffering wife. I have three young kids. I also enjoys running, travel, education, culture, problem solving, organizational dynamics, and planning.

I’m is convinced that people are happiest when they are balanced relationally, spiritually, financially and practically.

I guess I’m kind of a weird guy when you think about it, but hopefully weird in a useful way...

This website, in a sense, is a  resource I wish that I'd had for my family when we initially moved overseas.
